These cute Little pieces of milk toffees are one of my favorite sweets from childhood days. When I was little there was this aunty near our home used to make them for every festival and never forgot to share with us. we were eagerly waiting for her milk toffees on every festival days. I still miss those ones. but I never tried to make them by myself.sometimes my mom used to make it. so I finally decided to give it a try. when I was browsing in search of some recipes I came through a little different recipe than my mom’s one for milk toffee. Those toffees were cute, so I went through with that recipe and the end result was amazing. I can definitely tell that these were tasted as good as that aunty’s milk toffee. Thank you so much Lavish Treats for your wonderful recipe.

Oh lovely! What would be a good substitute for the cashews? They are hard to find where I live! 😘

Thanks for this. My dad will enjoy the toffees as hard to buy toffees in Singapore these days as kids these days have a more sophisticated palate. 🙂

It’s not that much difficult but have to make sure the right consistency. And yeah hands start to get paining after finishing it due to the continuous stirring.😊😉

I made this today. Tastes very yummy.
It turns out bit sticky so I was not able to cut properly.. what can be the reason?

Asalaamo alaikum,
Excellent sweet for Ramadhan mashallah. Jazakumullah. God bless you. My daughter is seriously addicted. I put in vanilla extract for flavouring as I did not have cardamom powder and roasted mixed nuts: almonds n walnuts n cashews.

It takes us much longer than an hour though to get the required consistency- should I reduce the water? It is 1 and 1/2 cups right?
