Vanilla Panna Cotta With Blueberry Coulis

Back to back posts in a day. Hurray! ☺.  I already posted the panna cotta recipe before, this also same but with blackberry coulis.


  For Panna Cotta

  • Whipping Cream      250 ml
  • Fresh Milk                   250 ml
  • Sugar                              1/2 cup
  • Gelatin                           3 tsp
  • Vanilla Essence           1 tsp
  • Cold Water                    1 tbs
  • Boiling Water               1 tbs

For blueberry coulis

  • Blueberry                  1 cup
  • Sugar                          1 tbs
  • Lime/Lemon Juice  1 tsp


Sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for 2 minutes for gelatin to bloom. Then add the boiling water to dissolve the gelatin.  Meanwhile In a large pan mix the cream,milk and sugar together and bring it to a boil on medium flame, add the gelatin mixture and stir well until combined. Add the vanilla give a quick mix and switch off the stove.

Pour the pudding mixture into ramekin cups or desired moulds and refrigerate for 1 hour or until set.

For coulis

In a pan add in all the ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce to low flame and simmer it for 10 minutes. Let it cool and blend it using a blender. Filter throw a strainer. Keep refrigerate until you use.
